I got a 12” length of 1/2” balsa wood, added a firmly attached lanyard, and with a Sharpee labeled one face “M” (main) and the opposite face “A” (aux). This opening is rectangular and about 3 sq. in.  It exhausts cabin air into the tail cone, and modestly helps airflow through the cabin.  It is often covered with upholstery.
