NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in August 2022.

נווה פריצקי Eyal Carlin was the North American Tourism Commissioner for North America. “It is exciting to once again witness an increase in tourism Israel from the United States. Already reaching the record-breaking numbers of the year 2019,” he stated. “The United States has been the most important market for Israel’s tourism inbound. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, we had record number of Israeli tourism entries every month.

Canada is home to 7,200 tourists in July 2022 and 6,000 in August, isn’t much from the United States.

נווה פריצקי Israel received more tourists from around the world in the year 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of these were Americans. Israel’s official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has received more than 600,400 US tourists since the time of opening.
