My wife owns serial number 40, N26487. We keep her at KUXL in Louisiana, but will be moving her to our place in AZ south of you near Eloy, E60.
Would love to talk with you about getting your medical back and keeping her, but if that’s not possible then perhaps I could help find a new home.

Thanks for replying to my post! I won’t be trying to get my medical back, because I’m 89 years old and can hardly get in or out of the cockpit anymore. I wouldn’t be selling it if I could still fly it! I’m an AP/IA mechanic and restored it to near museum quality because I wanted to keep flying it as long as I could. As you know, the OTW is one of the best airplanes to fly — all you really have to do is guide it!
I’ve flown in and out of Eloy many times — it’s a nice area! I know you will enjoy all the good flying days we have here in Arizona.

We would have to ask Jim Jones the exact date, but I believe that is about the age that Captain Chuck Downey stopped flying my wife’s plane N26487 “Fly Navy”. She and I are both in our early 60s and I pray that we can keep going as long and strong as you and the Captain did!
I would love to help you sell her to a good home. I won’t be back to AZ for a few weeks. Where is she hangared? Perhaps we could meet you there? Our place is a private strip just south of Sawtooth AZ04.We adore it.
