NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That’s a 13% increase over the year before.

Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019 he stated. “The United States is our most important market for Israel’s inbound tourism. Before the COVID-19 pandemic we saw record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel each month. We are so happy to have witnessed an improvement in the trend and anticipate it to continue throughout the months and years to come.”
