I am starting this forum for anyone who has any questions or special requests for the Fly-In at KBEH.
There has been about a question about hangar space at the Fly-In…especially for the OTW’s. We do have hangar space for 3 OTW’s as of now and are working on obtaining more if needed.
One of our members, Mindy Harding needs a lift to KORD (Chicago O’Hare) on Sunday, September 16 arriving by 13:00 CDT. If anyone can help, please reach out to her by email at mindykay@mac.com or respond via this forum. Thanks!
Some of us have already been to the Waco Factory and Air Zoo during a previous Meyers Fly-In. Possibly there could be an alternative for those that have already been there.
Other options for activities at the fly-in include: kayak rentals through the hotel http://www.thirdcoastpaddling.com; dune buggy rides through http://www.saugatuckduneride.com; Norte Dame University to tour the campus, cathedral, grotto, and bookstore; and the Studebaker car museum http://www.studebakermuseum.org. Two good informational websites for the area are: http://www.michigan.org (search St. Joseph) and http://www.swmichigan.org.
