Hi All, I am a fairly new 200D owner, having purchased N2980T about 1.5 years ago. The reclining mechanism on my pilot seat will no longer stay in the most upright position (coincidentally after coming out of a months-long avionics/panel installation where the interior was removed). I pulled the seats out and suspect that the cylinder/spring mechanism needs to be rebuilt. But, rather than go down that road, I am interested in replacement seats. I recall previously seeing something about fiberglass replacement seats (Mark and Jay both mentioned it above in this seat-thread). Is there someone that still makes fiberglass replacement seats, or is this more of a one-off situation? Alternatively, has anyone simply altered their seats to have no recline mechanism?
