I’m considering buying a Micco SP-26 located in GA. Registration #N820SP. The owner has been very upfront about the aircraft’s history and is a very nice guy. It’s very low time but was used as the test article to certify the new SP-26 which included flutter testing of the wings, etc. Honestly, the lack of parts and support, plus this particular aircraft’s history is scaring me away, but just wondering what current owners of SP-26s think? Its a beautiful aircraft that I know would be a hoot to fly, but………..? Thanks all, your comments are welcomed.
