Hello Dean, I am in fort lauderdale with Carl Richards who owns ac serial # 379 or N200D. The ac experienced a sudden stoppage in Burly, Id. last Aug. since then since then the mechanic (The Flight Doctor) says he cannot put the three bladed propeller back on the speed mod nose due to their being no STC or legal Form 337 on record. We have a 337 in the log book but it does not meet to his satisfaction. Carl is now 88 years old and not very computer savy so I his longtime friend, pilot and mechanic am trying to iron this thing out so he (we) can get his plane back. We are now considering hiring an outfit to go to Burley disassemble N200D and take it to Austin Tx. to a Company that repaired it about five years ago. Any thoughts , Ideas or help is welcome. We are at our wits end! Thank you.
