Howdy from Germany,
the last annual reveiled a bad looking exhaust valve on No.3 and the guide had some blowby. Reason was a malfunctioning rotator.
My engine is am Continental remanufacture from 1993 with about 550 hours on it.
There seems to be a problem with this rotators and I suggest that you have a good look at yours valves, especcially if you have an engine of that period.
I will change the last 5 with the next annual.Take care
