ParticipantHello from Germany,
this is my first post to this forum.
My name is Thomas and I am in severe negotiations with Jan Ebert in order to buy D-ECDW, the only Meyers 200 in Europe.
We met Monday and had a chat about the plane and went for a demo flight.
What can I say, you know how it is: You see her and want her, you touch her and want her even more, you fly her and you ask yourself how could I live without her.
I am talking about the plane, the wife heard this last year. But she, the plane, is 2 years older than me and has some wear and tear.
Especially the left rear window has a crack about 4 inches and I would like to know were to get an new window.
Is there a shop selling them still?
Thanks
Thomas

ParticipantHi Thomas,
I replaced all the glass on my 200 in 2001. Last month, I replaced the small vent window. The glass is available from Cee Baileys Aircraft Plastics. The web site is http://www.ceebaileys.com. They are currently listing the rear window for $390.00. Hope that helps.

ParticipantThomas, I replaced all except windshield in 2012 and also used Cee Bailey’s. We have heard they have been hard to get of late, but Mark is right, that’s the place to start.
Assume the crack has been stop-drilled for now?

ParticipantThank you for the information. The crack has been drilled and I am watching it.
I am in the progress of talking to some specialists for having the the plane repainted. Will keep you informed.

ParticipantHi,
I am in Florida at the moment an thinking about essentials for the Meyers to take home.
I asked globalparts to offer a set of landing gear bushings.
What else do you recommend to have in the parts-box?Thanks,
Thomas
