Wing walk area

I am restoring # 19. The wing walk area has textured aluminum panel riveted to the wing panel. Is this original?

Our OTW also has the aluminum wing walk area. I do not believe that it is original. Send an instant message to Jim Jones (in this site’s directory) and either he or Mike Barg will know for sure. If you could, please post back anything you find out here to the site for the benefit of all.
