Hi guys
The flight controls on the Meyers 200 do NOT need to be balanced when painted. They are controlled by push –pull rods. Aircraft that have control CABLES they are the ones that need to be balanced if painted.

Also on ANOTHER change to the IO550-F engine is the 2 bladed prop on the IO520-A is 82 inches, the IO550-F engine requires a 2 bladed prop to be 84 inches.

@abryanwade Like Dean said you can lube it , I have lubed mine by removing side panel and airblowing lube thru cable back to the control box.

Checked up on the AD I said is coming out, and I cannot find anything on it. So for now disregard. Apparently the information given to me from a mechanic in KAPA does not check out. Sorry for the misinformation, not good on my behalf. Apologies.

New AD calls for removal of the teflon gasket at the base of the F&M adapter to be replaced with a crushed seal gasket. Also adapter must be torqued to 65 ft. lbs. every twelve hrs. I searched the FAA site fir the AD but it has not been posted yet. I followed the ad procedure and twelve hours later the top of the adapter had already began to seep…[Read more]

Looking for dimensions on door seals for 200D. Anyone have info? Working on annual for N200D trying to get door seal from leaking.

Ad is coming on the IO-520 with the F&M oil filter adaptor on April 04,2022. Make sure all follow instructions and torque properly. Ours started leaking on a rebuild right out of the shop improperly torqued. Follow maintenance procedures and Fly Safe.

Finally picked up N200D from Burley ,Idaho after 1 year and 5 month repair and compliance work for the modification done in 1987 without the proper paperwork. @dep196m Ed, spoke with Dave Smith and he removed the clip from a strut he had in storage. Thank the airplane gods for Dave ! Dont really have a part number though it seems to be a standard beveled layer clip.
