Update for posterity (and because, as a millennial, I depend on the internet to have such information indexed and available).

Spoke with Bob today, after disassembling an actuator and having a WTF moment- they are actually not sealed with O-rings, but a “Greene tweed ring” which is basically a non-rollable, shouldered O-ring with packings either side. Not a horrible idea but also doesn’t seem like someone with time, a micrometer, O-ring chart, and backup packings couldn’t retrofit to normal O-rings. Bob said they seem to need replaced plenty much- owners call him frequently- but I mean so do O-rings so who knows. He has a lifetime and then some supply in stock and will send mine Monday. They are 15 bucks a pop- I didn’t know/care/clarify if that’s per seal or per actuator, I was buying them either way.

So that’s the news that’s fit to print, if anyone needed it printed.

I am looking for O-ring/packing parts/rebuild kit for this too- today they didn’t pick up the phone, but I’ve sent an email! I’ll be happy to report back on what I hear in case it helps anyone else.
