Andy NixonParticipantRocky,
The guy in Auburn is Joseph McDonald. I don’t have a number for him, but we chat via Facebook.

Andy NixonParticipantThomas,
I was having the same issue with N430DP this summer. I had it removed and sent to the prop shop for bench testing and had the springs replaced. They ran it for 2 hours on the bench with no issues, but I’m still only reaching 2600 RPM on takeoff.

Andy NixonParticipantJohn – I typically climb at around 800-1,000 FPM and 120mph on a summer day in Michigan. I plan on burning 22-24gph during my climb. I use N430DP for mostly cross-country flights. When in a cruise around the 7,500-10,500 altitude range I usually average and plan for 200mph with a fuel burn of 14-15gph. The plane has the IO525 engine with Gami injectors. There have been many occasions at altitude where I am cruising well over 200mph depending on conditions. Hope that helps! Feel free to call anytime 419.704.1981.

Andy NixonParticipantHey Stephen,
Welcome. You may try posting this in the Meyers forum on Facebook. That seems to get more participation and response.

Andy NixonParticipantVery cool! When I started in business aviation I did sales for National Flight Services, they are a Honeywell Service Center (TPE331) so I was able to attend several of the NAAA shows and chat with the crop dusting crowd.

Andy NixonParticipantI had N430DP’s engine mount repaired in 2 places by a welder in Brighton, MI. He is a certified FAA welder working for Delta. He was able to blast, inspect, repair, and paint in his shop. Turned out wonderful.

Andy NixonParticipantAshley,
I am of the Betzoldt clan, just sometimes keep that on the down low… LOL. I will give Cassidy a ring and see what he has to say. Being in the corporate aviation industry, the insurance game is such a joke (cartel) when it comes to what they are charging. Appreciate the info and I will let my grandpa know you say hello! He just sold his Piper Super Pacer and bought a Cardinal so my grandma can get in and out much easier. Look forward to meeting everyone in the club next year hopefully!

Andy NixonParticipantHi TC,
Thanks for the info! On the fiberglass seat buckets – can I use those and just redo the original Meyers seats? I think this will be necessary purchase either way.

Andy NixonParticipantHi Joel!
I will be out and about your way sometime in early 2021 visiting customers and would be happy to meet you at the airport somewhere. I have a B model, N430DP that I use for business travel.

Andy NixonParticipantHi Ed!
I hope you had a great holiday as well. Thank you for the information; I kind of figured I’d have to bite the bullet for this next year before getting some relief…. That being said, I am planning to knock out my instrument this spring. I’m lucky to only have the 200 available for flying! Lots of takeoffs and landings so far.
