Hello All OTW owners……….Just curious if anyone has found an easier to way to grease the trim “jacks crew.” Still, doing it the old fashioned way and getting too old to continue! Let me know……

Hey Dean, It’s the elevator trim and it doesn’t trim all the way, My mechanic thinks it may be jumping a cog in the control box but we haven’t taken the control box out and apart yet. He says notices a slight ‘bump’ when adjusting the trim control on the ground. In the air I was not able trim all the way down, ie had to hold some constant down…[Read more]

This strew attaches a bracket for the throttle cable connection at the back of the engine. The screw was also nearly worn through. It is intended to allow a certain amount of…[Read more]

As I was replacing my battery this weekend, I noticed that there was a component attached in series to a circuit connecting both sides of the master relay that had degraded into a snowball.

It looks like an old style ceramic capacitor, about an inch and quarter long. Also included in the curcuit is (perhaps) a diode, and a fuse.

    Someone…[Read more]

Dean, I’m ordering some other stuff from Aircraft Spruce, so I figured I’d order the wing root fillet. is it listed as the beechcraft wingroot seal (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/doorseals4.php?clickkey=4626)?

I tried to get a windshield and windows from Cee Bailey. After a month they cancelled the order. Said they had tooling problems and offered no encouragement for the future. I did contact LP Aero. Contact: George. They have the tooling for the rear windows but you would need to send in the side windows and windshield to have tooling made. Fairly…[Read more]
