We would have to ask Jim Jones the exact date, but I believe that is about the age that Captain Chuck Downey stopped flying my wife’s plane N26487 “Fly Navy”. She and I are both in our early 60s and I pray that we can keep going as long and strong as you and the Captain did!
I would love to help you sell her to a good home. I won’t be back to…[Read more]

Good morning Chris,
Huge apologies for tardy response. Life has been crazy. Got your post while I was on the road and needed to get the invoice for you. Then I impulse bought an R44 and set a check ride. Long story.
Please text and I’ll send the invoice. Total came to $37,860 with dual GI 275s. Install portion was $16,000 of that.
Please c…[Read more]

Hello Gary. I just saw your post about your OTW. So sorry to hear about your medical!
My wife owns serial number 40, N26487. We keep her at KUXL in Louisiana, but will be moving her to our place in AZ south of you near Eloy, E60.
Would love to talk with you about getting your medical back and keeping her, but if that’s not possible then p…[Read more]

I couldn’t figure out how to show or list aircraft for sale here… An acquaintance’s wife is selling his MAC145 after his passing. He was Canadian and kept it here in Bellingham, WA. Hadn’t used it much in the last 10 years or so. It has been flying off and on, and I have a link to TAP (I think?) for it’s listing. Let me know how to list…[Read more]

Thanks to Mark and Arne for the follow up info. Was hoping Ashley would comment on the results from his installation. I’m heading towards Stein soon, wondering about the electric trim. I would install that if able, some have said that it needed to be installed prior to Stein doing their install. Mine is bare bones manual, so all AP functioning…[Read more]

Thanks Jonathan. It’s been 2+ years now, has there been any changes or actual STC issuance that would apply to us? This situation sounded appropriate for me, if all of the advanced functions are available. Especially at the prices stated! What have you done regarding an autopilot?

Hi Tony. How did the Cadillac senders that Nelson recommended work out? I will be interested in new senders and individual tank indicators when I update with JPI engine monitoring and fuel flows, etc. Anyone upgrade their fuel indicating system lately?

I have had good results using Otto instruments, (Southern Ca.) It has been a few years since I have sent anything to them, but they were good then.
