I tried to post an ad for the sale of my 1942 Meyers OTW N34327 SN 72 but wasn’t able to do so. I did a ground up restoration in 1989. It’s always been hangered and is currently at Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix, AZ. I have a complete set of log books. I’m asking $100,000. I also have a spare Warner 7-cylinder engine and other aircraft parts.…[Read more]

We would have to ask Jim Jones the exact date, but I believe that is about the age that Captain Chuck Downey stopped flying my wife’s plane N26487 “Fly Navy”. She and I are both in our early 60s and I pray that we can keep going as long and strong as you and the Captain did!
I would love to help you sell her to a good home. I won’t be back to…[Read more]

Thanks for replying to my post! I won’t be trying to get my medical back, because I’m 89 years old and can hardly get in or out of the cockpit anymore. I wouldn’t be selling it if I could still fly it! I’m an AP/IA mechanic and restored it to near museum quality because I wanted to keep flying it as long as I could. As you know, the OTW is one…[Read more]

Huge apologies for tardy response. Life has been crazy. Got your post while I was on the road and needed to get the invoice for you. Then I impulse bought an R44 and set a check ride. Long story.
Please text and I’ll send the invoice. Total came to $37,860 with dual GI 275s. Install portion was $16,000 of that.
Please c…[Read more]

I have had good results using Otto instruments, (Southern Ca.) It has been a few years since I have sent anything to them, but they were good then.

Keven, the glare shield is most definitely the overhang of the dashboard. The white lights would be mounted under to illuminate everything below in white light. They may have been removed by a previous owner? Hopes this helps. Ross

Hello Kevin. The second position for your panel light controls white light bulbs (four?) under the glare shield. Your bulbs may be burned out or a power wire detached. Ross
