Apologies as I just saw your last reply. The airplane is n5507m, Walt Bowe’s old plane. The logs are away from me right now but I believe the last (only) overhaul was 1978. Weve sent one oil sample off to Blackstone and they gave us some things to watch and get back to them. After I got signed off in it, I flew it about 40 hours in 5…[Read more] -

Thank you for clearing that up for me. We’ve got a mid-time 520 with a long calender time since overhaul and are looking at our options.

Good day all. I am looking for information regarding which specific io550 is needed in order to convert a 200d. Ive found little bits of information here and there such as the conversion does not require an stc but is approved under a 337 but nothing definitive. If it is an stc, who holds it?
