I am gonna put on a 550
Bottom has 1200 hrs top will have 300 hr freshly IRAN 300 hr cylinder port and polished. Will come with standard pistons and 10/1 .
I think 30k a very fair price.
Also will have two two blade props. One current other not. -

I have purchases the E. It is like an IKEA kit. My D model should arrive in Georgia in mid January. I think we can get the D flying in about a week.
The E will take 500-600 man hours ( i hope) The D will then become surplus.
All i plan to do now with the D is put an Aspen pro max to drive the century 2000 autopilot and an Uavonix tail beacon.

I have purchased an IO-550 for my yet to be delivered south african plane.
Thus i will have an 1100 or so 520a for sale with or without prop.
Engine has GAMI injectors and VAR crank.
Also will have some good avionics, garmin 430, engine monitor fuel flow guage. And a functioning century 2000autopilot,

They seem to think it is worth a lot more than i do. Was told the owner turned down 90k.
Meyers i think should bring more than bonanzas, but seemingly they do not.-

I found a higher time IO-550. Bought and a couple of overhauled cylinders.
Sending to Ly-con to do their magic. I have decided to bid more on N418 if i get it, i will determine which is the better airframe. I will put the 550 and MT propeller and sell the other with a serviceable spare engine. So standby, there will a bargan n a 200d soon.…[Read more] -

If i buy it i will flynit.
My bet is it will not bring reserve.
50,000 is my top which would be 53,000 with commission. Maybe go to 55 including vig.
The plane cosmetically is in nice shape. -

Plane has apparently been sitting a long time.
But the owner recently spent a good bit of money on airworthiness items in preparation for sale. -

There have been some field approvals for the 200. We plan to go that route.

IA said paint very good, needs rubbing out.
Interior excellent
Engine seems good, compressions all good.
He gave plane a thumbs up.
Given engine time and avionics.
I thing 50k plus the vig is my choke point.

I am sending an IA to evaluate. I may bid on it. Not sure when the South African plane will make it to Georgia, but deal is done.
Might as well have two. If some one else is interested, i will defer on 418.

I thnk i have a deal with Mike. Waiting to hear go from him. I had hoped for immediate gratification be pcause i am old. Plan to have LyCon do magic on the cylinser. The think the can get power comparable to a 550 for under 3 grand.
