Chris Hudson started the topic KVBT Fly-in – anybody headed to AR from East Coast have a seat available?? in the forum General 4 hours, 37 minutes ago
Yeah, I know the 200 is generally a great 2-seat plus luggage airplane, but maybe there’s an owner or two who’d share for a fair expense split. I am not a Meyers owner, but would like to be and am happy to cover half of expenses if anybody’s considering attending and is willing to share.
I have no Meyers flying experience, but do have 6400…[Read more]

John,
So sorry to see this. Your guardianship of that aircraft, during your tenure, was extraordinary. I always see N489C in my minds eye when I think of the story of the 200. So thankful no one was hurt. Such a tough situation. I have always seen that aircraft as the flag bearer for the 200 series. The Meyers design, once again provided safe…[Read more]

John-I was at OSH for a couple of days last week and looked for my 200 brethren, but did not dig too hard. Tell Ross hello. F 35’s and F 18’s were awesome!!
I own 196M, which is a 1964 C model. It has a IO 520 factory remain installed Jan 2017 with GAMI’s. I do not do a lot of long distance cross country so I rarely climb above 5K and…[Read more]

New to the forum and to the Meyers 200 airframe. I am searching for a “new to me” cross country VFR / light IFR platform. Past owner of a Piper Twin Comanche and Cessna Turbo 182RG amongst others. Met Ross Warner @ OSH 2022 and looked over N2988T, N259M was at OSH as well but was not able to meet the owner.
Searched the forums but did not fin…[Read more]

Anyone willing to part with theirs?

About to pull trigger on the asouth African plane but shopping closer to home.

Hi Dennis, I recently flew a friend’s c310 with IFD540/440 and really liked them. They seem much more user friendly and so simple to operate. I was ready to jump on them when he had an issue and the avionics shop had to send his 540 back to FL somewhere. He waited many weeks for the repair and it was not inexpensive. SEA is a giant aviation…[Read more]

I believe it’s basically a Model A Ford emergency brake, so you may try researching that.
Also, make sure you have the shoes pinned on the correct end. If you pin the front as the wheel rolls when you apply brake it tend to will drive the brake into the drum. I had this problem after a brake job and changing the pin location fixed it.
