Even bigger fake on WX. Going to be 84’F in NC on Thursday. Trees and plants are very confused…
My gear door issue was satisfactorily resolved and they were also able to re-weld the wing walk support on the wing inside of the flap. I dare say a lot of our fleet has busted wing walk supports. I don’t think it is an AW issue, but more of a…[Read more]

Update: some tweaking of the idle mixture and the engine runs fine. Take off fuel flow ist 28,3 gal/h resulting in good temperatures and performance „as expected“ by us. Annual done and the weather is also improving.
Keep on flying them birds!

Thomas-My understanding is the fuel flow set-up is not overly complex for the person who understands it and has done it. Who in Germany have you used in the past? Wonder if you might find a YouTube that might show it?
One thing to make sure is that you adjust your fuel flow at wide open throttle at sea level to be 10% of your rated HP. So on…[Read more]

Update: had another cylinder overhauled and all rotocaps replaced. On Runup the fuelflow was well below spec. Had the fuel control unit overhauled here in Germany. Came back with factory settings. On run-up engine stalls below 1500 rpm. Need to setup the FCU according to SB. Did anybody venture this way before and has some knowledge to share?
I…[Read more] -

Hello all.
A preface:
I would post this in classifieds but the method of doing so did not readily make itself available to me, therefore, into the airframe section we go!When we purchased n5507m about 3 years ago, we also received 2 spare airframes (both 200d’s) and various other parts worth of spares.
I believe the time has come to let one of…[Read more] -
