Pretty new to the club and the site. Are the aircraft for sale listings maintained by the posting member and do they pull the listing down once sold or no longer on-market? There sure seem to be aircraft listed months and years ago, which I presume are not current listings.

I know I reached out to every person who had a D model listed for sale in the US here on this site back in March and only one I believe was out of date and since removed. Can’t hurt to email, I’m still searching myself.

Thanks, Kevin. I note there are a couple of 2020 listings one can’t be sure about and one from 2019 which hasn’t been owned by the gentleman for a while now.

Which one are you saying that’s from 2019 and isn’t currently owned by them anymore?

The listings are only as good as the people posting them. If the owner doesn’t let us know that it’s sold, it’ll just remain there.

Remember, this isn’t some big fancy company with many employees. It’s a small group of owners of a very small population of aircraft.

FTI, a new listing came up on TAP today, here, in the last 24 hours. In my uninformed opinion the price is “interesting”, but perhaps something to call about.

Some other owners contacted me and said my response was not as friendly as it should have been. My apologies.

Which airplane on the For Sale site is sold?

Ted-I agree with you assessment on price but as an owner I hope he gets it or close thereto! Pricing is crazy right now. I am seeing early 70’s Skylanes with 8K+ hours airframe selling for $150k PLUS!!

    Hi Dean:

I believe that the N2976T listing at the time I inquired had been sold, possibly more than once. I recognize that I may be mistaken about that as i didn’t know its title history in detail. I remember it as your airplane at one point, so please correct my (mis?)information. Thanks.

N2976T is a gorgeous plane and the previous owner was gracious enough to show her to me and take me up for a demo. Sad I couldn’t stretch out to his asking, but happy for the new owner.
