ParticipantDoes anyone know of a source for landing gear placards? I need to replace those associated with my nose gear.

ParticipantI don’t think they are required.

ParticipantMark-I think you are correct. Only one I think is required is the trim warning on the panel? Perhaps one of our A&P/IA brothers (or sisters) will comment.

ParticipantOne thing my mechanic did 3 years ago when I had a FWF done (including nose gear) was to mark on the trunion and nose gear the limits in red lines so as to know what the maximum turn was with the nose gear in a ground based device (ie, not jacked up)

Tom ThibodeauParticipantMark,
I believe I have one in my stash of parts. I’ll check next trip to my hangar in a week or so. Do you need them for the mains as well? I’ll let you know what I find …
Have you asked Joan Diver about them?

Ashley WadeParticipantHello Mark! Hope to see you in Sedona, buddy. If Tommy T. Didn’t fix you up MAOA’s own President Mr. Ross Warner has everything that you need. He did a good deed and bought a huge stash of all types of placarding form a former owner’s estate (can’t remember the details) who’d had them printed up. All great/original quality.

ParticipantMark,
When I repainted my airplane the folks at Aero Graphics in Colorado made identical duplicate decals for the gear. You might need to send them photos/drawings of the originals to get it just right.
Here is their url: http://www.aerographics.com/
