Mark-I had the same issue several years back. My mechanic sourced alternative caps and used the rubber and replaced on the old caps.

Windows that are thicker than standard are also heavier, which is likely why there’s an issue with the FAA.

Code 4, disregard my post – I have ‘particular’/thorough wrench and IA and that’s great – however, since I posted this, I’ve again realized, a tail boot for our OTW is rarely available. Yes. We removed the tailwheel boots on “Fly Navy” to service the bearing and the rear suspension. I can trace if for you if you need me to.

One thing my mechanic did 3 years ago when I had a FWF done (including nose gear) was to mark on the trunion and nose gear the limits in red lines so as to know what the maximum turn was with the nose gear in a ground based device (ie, not jacked up)

Mark-I think you are correct. Only one I think is required is the trim warning on the panel? Perhaps one of our A&P/IA brothers (or sisters) will comment.
