    Currently the Trio Pro Pilot will fly a GPS course line, and if ATC says fly 270, you can dial in 270 into the autopilot and it will fly that “heading” until you let it intercept the previous course.

    Also they are in he last stage of getting STC approval to interface with Aspen and G5 EFIS with AV-30 and Skyview in R&D to follow. This will then allow the EFIS to command course and heading changes, and it will fly a flight plan that is provided by the EFIS. Full control of the vertical commands allows altitude hold, climbs and descents, and altitude pre-select. When the EFIS is getting it’s navigation data from approved receivers, it will also fly precision ILS and LNAV approaches.
