Good morning Joe and Thomas. Hugh Mattern was kind enough too pull his 200 into the hangar for the maintenance session at the 2017 fly in. This is always one of the highlights of the fly in. So much to learn from these guys. Some are A&Ps, some have rebuilt numerous planes, some have owned their girls for 30 plus years. None of them are just…[Read more]

Steve Freeman replied to the topic Excellent Com radio for the OTW in the forum Avionics – Meyers OTW 8 years, 1 month ago
After talking with Jim I bought one of these radios and installed it in my Ryan PT-22. The radio works great and the built in intercom is the best I have used in an open cockpit airplane.

Richard E Russell replied to the topic Reasonable Crosswind Limitations for an OTW on pavement? in the forum Airframe – Meyers OTW 8 years, 3 months ago

Factory test pilots are required to certify all Part 23 airplanes to 15 mph crosswinds, therefore, it then depends upon…[Read more]

@oliverwallace : are you interested in my airplane?

Hi Richard,
Yes I am!
I’m interested in purchasing a Meyers OTW in early December should I get a place on the Vintage Air Rally 2018 which is by no means a certainty, but I am planning on an optimistic basis!
We get notified on the 1st December and so if successful then I would be looking to purchase one in December of this year. I would also…[Read more]
