Yes. We removed the tailwheel boots on “Fly Navy” to service the bearing and the rear suspension. I can trace if for you if you need me to.

One thing my mechanic did 3 years ago when I had a FWF done (including nose gear) was to mark on the trunion and nose gear the limits in red lines so as to know what the maximum turn was with the nose gear in a ground based device (ie, not jacked up)

Mark-I think you are correct. Only one I think is required is the trim warning on the panel? Perhaps one of our A&P/IA brothers (or sisters) will comment.

I try to avoid actual weather approaches but practice one or two approaches on nearly every flight just in case I have to make one in actual weather. Hello Thomas from NC, USA. Bob Fields was a standard ‘go to’ as I understand it at one time but there are a lot of stories the last few years of non-performance so I would go into any transaction eyes wide open and credit card only.
