We are doing my annual using the original Meyers OTW manual and learned (?) that our OTW had tailwheel boots? I don’t recall seeing any on any of the OTW I have been around the past 18 years? Need we OTW owners need locate a source or my mechanic here may be able to do so?

‘Apparently’ (?) Oliver was not selected as I have not heard since his initial inquiry 3 months ago -INFORMATION: OTW#93 is not ‘listed’ for sale at present but would entertain any serious offer near 100k$.

Mystery solved. Mark sent me a pic that I sent to my AP/IA and here was his feedback:

‘Yes, it attaches to #5 cyl rocker cover and goes over to top of oil cooler, like a anti-vibration arm.’

I replaced mine with a whelen LED beacon after it when belly up. it was Waaay brighter. :/

Here is an interesting article from the AOPA newsletter. It was buried way at the bottom and you may have missed it. They are questioning a go/no go with an inoperative rotating beacon; even if strobe is operational and came up with a no go decision. My beacon is GONE. Removed decades ago. Dan-I had FWF done last winter. Pretty sure Kinsley did the one stack that was bad but I will check.

Dean- I had new instrument panels put in 196M when she was down for FWF winter 16/17 and had a long discussion with the guys at SparkChaser’s who did the work. We opted to directly mount to the frame and it has performed flawlessly thus far. I know some will argue here but no issues from me.

I just replaced the fiber glass seat bottoms for my rear seats. I purchased the new seat bottoms in December through Marv Rogge. He did have molds at that time but was concidering passing them on to some one else.
