The flight controls on the Meyers 200 do NOT need to be balanced when painted. They are controlled by push –pull rods. Aircraft that have control CABLES they are the ones that need to be balanced if painted.

They said they could but would not certify it for aircraft use without FAA approval. Is anyone interested in pursuing this? Seems like 1/4″ would be quieter and more durable.

Got that at Butter Valley Golf port. Even after I’d left the flaps out a bit for the pass… some older golfers weren’t quite sure whether to salute or throw their putters.
