Joe,
Based on my experience this is an important modification. I lost throttle control during taxi for take off as a result of a screw that pulled out of its threads. This strew attaches a bracket for the throttle cable connection at the back of the engine. The screw was also nearly worn through. It is intended to allow a certain amount of…[Read more]

As I was replacing my battery this weekend, I noticed that there was a component attached in series to a circuit connecting both sides of the master relay that had degraded into a snowball.
It looks like an old style ceramic capacitor, about an inch and quarter long. Also included in the curcuit is (perhaps) a diode, and a fuse.
Someone…[Read more]

Dean, I’m ordering some other stuff from Aircraft Spruce, so I figured I’d order the wing root fillet. is it listed as the beechcraft wingroot seal (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/appages/doorseals4.php?clickkey=4626)?

Contact: George. They have the tooling for the rear windows but you would need to send in the side windows and windshield to have tooling made. Fairly…[Read more]

I’m told there is a recommended modification for the M200 that pulls the throttle to full open if the throttle cable breaks. Does anyone have the specs, parts list and technical drawing for the modification? Thanks, Joe Martony N2998T

Frank-not sure my first message went through. D model has flush rivets ob the wings. The IO 550 is accomplished through the STC or a field approved 337. I am thinking there was some empennage beef up on the C/D…? Hopefully someone can confirm.
Best-
Ed
