I’m very interested also Dean. I’d like to upgrade my entire panel one day, and an affordable a/p is a great motivator. I hope many others can get the interest high enough to make it happen!

We’re upgrading N200HS to an IO-550-F which also requires a prop upgrade. If anyone is interested in a used McCauley prop, please let me know. It has approximately 1069 hours on it.

Count me in too, Dean. Same payment plan as Mr. Young. I’d pay NOW for one to get it later if it helps prime the pump. I think that Pruitt, Atchison and Secord would also be in. Perhaps send a personal message to them.

Some of us have already been to the Waco Factory and Air Zoo during a previous Meyers Fly-In. Possibly there could be an alternative for those that have already been there.

We used to race each other at Fly-Ins. The late Doc Morgan usually won the “Scenic Route” award, in our long x-country (not pylon) races. For the benefit of the FAA and the insurance companies, we called them “proficiency exercises.” The most proficient pilot crossed the finish line first. One of the little secrets learned was that with a…[Read more]

Meyers 200 Group 7 years, 5 months ago@rgomoll Roger, I would advise the 5 gal. at a time method, since they’re all a little different, at least the Meyers ships. I got a 12” length of 1/2” balsa wood, added a firmly attached lanyard, and with a Sharpee labeled one face “M” (main) and the opposite face “A” (aux). Then I did the 5 gal. at a time separately fot the mains and the auxes…[Read more]
