STEVE BAUMAN -here– N2989T–Your airplane was SUSAN OLIVERS’S airplane N2960T. It had the blue two tone paint scheme. Would you want to go back to the original “N” number?

Steve Bauman replied to the topic Any info available for balancing control surfaces? in the forum Flight Controls – Meyers 200 3 years, 4 months ago

    Hi guys
The flight controls on the Meyers 200 do NOT need to be balanced when painted. They are controlled by push –pull rods. Aircraft that have control CABLES they are the ones that need to be balanced if painted.
    This from the FAA.

Also on ANOTHER change to the IO550-F engine is the 2 bladed prop on the IO520-A is 82 inches, the IO550-F engine requires a 2 bladed prop to be 84 inches.

I contacted Cee Bailey recently to see if they would consider making 1/4″ side and rear glass for Meyers 200s. They said they could but would not certify it for aircraft use without FAA approval. Is anyone interested in pursuing this? Seems like 1/4″ would be quieter and more durable.
