Ross Warner started the topic golf outing during the Carson City fly in in the forum Meyers 200 2 years, 3 months ago
Looking forward to seeing our regular and new members in Carson City this September. My son and I plan on attending and bringing our sticks to play golf at the Eagle Valley golf course just east of our host airport. website eaglevalleygolfcourse.com. They have rental clubs if you don’t want to add extra weight to your Meyers. Just putting out…[Read more]

In the recent post card mailing, we listed both hertz and enterprise, along with contact numbers.

Steve Bauman replied to the topic Any info available for balancing control surfaces? in the forum Flight Controls – Meyers 200 3 years, 5 months ago
Hi guys
The flight controls on the Meyers 200 do NOT need to be balanced when painted. They are controlled by push –pull rods. Aircraft that have control CABLES they are the ones that need to be balanced if painted.
This from the FAA.

Also on ANOTHER change to the IO550-F engine is the 2 bladed prop on the IO520-A is 82 inches, the IO550-F engine requires a 2 bladed prop to be 84 inches.

Joseph McDonald started the topic Searching for prop ferrule (D2A34C58 / 90AT-8) in the forum Engine – Meyers 200 3 years, 10 months ago
We sent prop off for overhaul and seems the shop can not locate the prop attachment ferrules and those can not be reused in the same blade and have max # of drilling / reinstalling of 4.
Looks to be a C3054 ferrule, but still need to verify that #. If anyone has an original non serviceable prop as wall ornament or hangar dust collector, we…[Read more]

A quick follow-up to this post.
This installation is a first example, and it took stein a fair amount of work with his FSDO to get it approved.
The best approach to discussing this option is to call stein directly and talk about the upgrade and the excellent engineering relationship he has with his FSDO. This is a great opportunity to put a…[Read more]

Joseph McDonald replied to the topic 200D vs Super Viking in the forum General- Meyers 200 4 years, 7 months ago
In my search I found the super viking was too small for me, 6’1″, 275lbs… It’s fast, but so is the 200D, I went with a 200D and have enjoyed it and glad I made that decision.

Joseph McDonald replied to the topic "name" for your Meyers when talking to ATC? in the forum General- Meyers 200 4 years, 7 months ago
I’m new to this and fly a Commander built 200D, but refer to it as Meyers 15RR. The ICAO type is M200, so if they ask to clarify I will tell them a “ICAO type Mike two zero zero”. I’ve occasionally got questions of intrigue as they find the type, but don’t know what it is or what performance to expect, so for those we just say a four seat,…[Read more]
