After a successful 2021 Meyers Aircraft Owners Association Fly-In and reunion that took place in Fredericksburg, TX, plans are well under way for our 2022 event in Bentonville, Arkansas at KVBT to be held September 21-25, 2022.  But first, here is a brief recap of the fun we had in Fredericksburg!  A total of twelve Meyers 200’s and one Meyers OTW made the journey to Gillespie County Airport (T82) in Fredericksburg, TX for our September 22-26, 2021 reunion.  Overall we had 43 members and guests attend!  Our beautiful Meyers aircraft fleet was on display as a group right in front of the Hangar Hotel, which served as our host hotel, located right on the airport property.  During our stay, MAOA members enjoyed a privately guided trip to the National Museum of the Pacific War and a fly out to the Pioneer Flight Museum in Kingsbury, TX hosted by Roger Freeman, Steve Freeman, and Charlotte Parker.  Many thanks go out to Steve, Charlotte, and Roger for all their hard work in hosting this fly-in!  Our final event was the annual banquet and auction that took place at the Lady Bird Johnson Golf Club’s beautiful Cardinal Room.  Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves in the laid back Texas Hill Country!

The 2022 Fly-In  promises to be epic!  This year’s event will be hosted by Jamon Pruitt who has been planning so many activities for us including a Fly-out to Gaston’s White River Resort.   Our host hotel will be the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Bentonville.  We have a block of rooms reserved from 9/21/2022 until 9/25/2022.  Please mention that you are with “Meyers Aircraft” for our group rate.  More details, including the “theme” (do you prefer shaken or stirred?) for this year will follow.  We hope to see everyone in Arkansas!
