The fiberglass on my left rear seat bottom where the hardware screws in has failed and cracked all to pieces rendering it unsuitable to accept the mounting hardware. One option is to have it re-glassed and hopefully reinforced. Any of you dealt with this before and is there another option?

I had a recurring problem with the bracket that clasps the throttle cable at the back of the engine. The bracket is bolted to the intake manifold with a wire saftied screw which goes through a bushing. This arrangement allows a small amount of movement by the bracket. My problem was a loss of throttle control during taxi for takeoff. The screw…[Read more]

Hello Mark. Just saw your post from TWO YEARS AGO. Sorry. we move slower here in LA than you guys do in CA. Ever figure out what that was? I frequently have to change out my stater (not battery master) solenoid at $100 a pop from Aircraft Spruce. Your theory about it being a capacitor makes sense. Spruce has what looks like a little diode…[Read more]

Well Dan, you just cost me a bunch of money. I’d seen your original post back in 2016 and thought to myself that if Cee Bailey ever started production on the windows again that I would jump on them. Mine are in good, but not perfect…[Read more]

Good morning Joe and Thomas. Hugh Mattern was kind enough too pull his 200 into the hangar for the maintenance session at the 2017 fly in. This is always one of the highlights of the fly in. So much to learn from these guys. Some are A&Ps, some have rebuilt numerous planes, some have owned their girls for 30 plus years. None of them are just…[Read more]

After talking with Jim I bought one of these radios and installed it in my Ryan PT-22. The radio works great and the built in intercom is the best I have used in an open cockpit airplane.

Jamon, if you can make it out to California I will be happy to let you fly our 200B. This offer extends to any Meyers owner that would like to evaluate a 200 with an IO-550 and 3 bladed prop.

Hey Jamon, nice job against the Bonanzas. It seems as though they have got them running near our 200 speeds.
