The 3K# gross weight is definitely a factor, especially if you are full fuel on 80 gallons. I’ve installed a set of the bonanza seats in N929DM as well in N2992T. They are great upgrade in my opinion. My customer also has some of the fiberglass seat buckets as well!! Let me know if i can help!!

Andy-several of the guys have replaced the front seats via a 337 with Bonanza seats and a custom mount. I did my interior in 2012 using the old seats and wish I had waited. Andy-HTG to you and yours. As you might have read, the GA insurance business is in the ditch right now and the underwriters are calling the shots. When I bought my 200 in 2009 I had 1200 TT and a complex sign off to come get 196M. I had to do 5 hours of dual with the owner (an ATP) and then 10 hours of solo before carrying passengers.
