Tom Thibodeau replied to the topic Meyers 200 vs Bonanza in the forum Meyers 200 4 years, 4 months ago
James,
Welcome to the Meyers website. You’ll quickly discover most Meyers owners are very proud of their aircraft. These machines are members of their families, and tend to stay with their caretakers for many years. We’ve cherished N2919T for 21 years, and acquired it from a gentleman and his wife who cared for it for nearly 30 years. The air…[Read more]

Ashley Wade replied to the topic "name" for your Meyers when talking to ATC? in the forum General- Meyers 200 4 years, 5 months ago
Joseph, I do same as you and say ICAO Mike two zero zero. But I would NEVER say similar to a Bonanza! Almost as bad as saying similar to a Cirrus! Yuk!
On long cross countries switching service areas ATC does morph me into a Mooney as per Ed on occasion. I do take exception with THAT as well, but just motor on along and respond back with…[Read more]

Ashley Wade replied to the topic Flying a Meyers 145 in the forum Meyers 145 & Micco SP20/SP26 4 years, 5 months ago
Hello Chuck. The 145 is such a cool airplane. You need to send a note to Jamon Pruitt that is a member on the site. Jamon has a bunch of planes including a 145 and a 200. His 145 is listed for sale here on the site in the classifieds. I’ve seen her in person and she’s beautiful. Like most of us, Jamon is an aviation nut. Give him a call and…[Read more]

Hello Thomas and Ed. I will check with Stein and get his thoughts. He still needs to get me an official quote so that I can send him some $ and save on some taxes leaving poor Joe Biden out in the cold. I’ll be happy to share the quote with anyone who needs it. Wish this site supported uploads of photos and .PDFs so that we could all share.…[Read more]

Good afternoon Chris. Karen and I were unable to make Sedona due to Hurricane Laura direct hit. Both planes damaged, OTW extensive 200 will just end up with a new paint job.
The folks that did attend voted for Fredircksburg, TX and the Hangar Hotel as the 2021 fly in destination. Steve Freeman couldn’t run away fast enough/is too polite so he…[Read more]

Mark, Contact Steve Freeman or Phil Hart. Click on Members from the menu above and you’ll see them. They have a cool design that has a fluted neck which keeps water intrusion out. When we rebuilt the engine in 749C we changed all of the hoses and pulled the tanks. Wish I’d know about it beforehand. My plane rarely sit out except for Oshkosh…[Read more]

Our OTW also has the aluminum wing walk area. I do not believe that it is original. Send an instant message to Jim Jones (in this site’s directory) and either he or Mike Barg will know for sure. If you could, please post back anything you find out here to the site for the benefit of all.

Ashley Wade replied to the topic I pad yoke or panel mounts in the forum Avionics – Meyers 200 4 years, 12 months ago
Hello Ed,
I’ve tried all kinds of combinations as I’ve upgraded iPads over the years. I’ve always used the full sized iPads and have them linked to the GTN 650 via a flighstream 210. After having tow RAM yoke mounts that I loved on the older iPads I was disappointed with the fit of the iPad Pro mount. I was going to switch to their X Mount to…[Read more]
